Lorsque je lance Window Media Player, apparaît le message d'erreur suivant :

"Le fichier wmploc.dll porte le numéro de version 11.0.6001.7000: or le numéro 11.0.6000.6344 était attendu.
Le lecteur Windows Media n'est pas installé correctement est doit être réinstallé.
Voulez-vous le réinstaller à partir du site web de Microsoft ?"

J'ignore vraiment comment faire, car je n'arrive pas d'abord à désinstaller WMP.

Si quelqu'un peut m'apporter la solution, ce serait vraiment sympa, car là je ne sais vraiment pas comment faire.

Entre temps j'ai fait des recherches et j'ai trouvé cette procédure :

Media Player is now built into the Vista Operating System and cannot be unistalled. A fix is available allowing Media Player to work correctly:

1. Click Start.
2. Click Run.
3. In the Open field type REGEDIT.
4. Click OK.
5. Click File in the menu bar.
6. Click Export from the drop down menu this will open a new box.
7. Click the down arrow beside Save In and select "Local Disk (C)".
8. In the File Name field type BACKUP.REG.
9. Verify that under the Export Range, that the radio button is beside All.
10. Click Save.
11. Click the arrow beside HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
12. Click the arrow beside Software.
13. Click the arrow beside Microsoft.
14. Click the arrow beside Media Player.
15. Click the arrow beside Setup.
16. Click on Installed Versions.
17. In the right hand window pane select wmp.dll and press the delete key on the keyboard.
18. Confirm with an OK.
19. In the right hand window pane select wmploc.dll and press the delete key on the keyboard.
20. Confirm with an OK.
21. In the right hand window pane select wmp.exe and press the delete key on the keyboard.
22. Confirm with an OK.
23. Click the "X" in the upper right hand corner of the Registry Editor window to close it.
Restart your Computer in order for the registry - fix to work.

Sauf que pour l'étape 9, je ne choisirais pas de sauvegarder l'intégralité du registre, ça prend du temps et ça produit un fichier inutilement volumineux.

Je ne sauvegarderais que la partie du registre modifiée, à savoir HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Media Player\Setup.
Disons en gros que je placerais les étapes 5 à 9 entre les étapes 15 et 16 et que je remplacerais l'étape 9 par : Verify that under the Export Range, that the radio button is beside Selected Branch.

Ca ne change rien à l'efficacité de la solution qui consiste simplement à supprimer les valeurs wmp.dll, wmploc.dll et wmp.exe de la clé de registre HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Media Player\Setup\Versions. Ca permet juste d'éviter de créer une sauvegarde complète du registre inutilement.
